This is a final report from a 2025 ACSES Capacity Building Grant project by The University of Queensland and Monash University. The project sought to enable a cross-institutional collaboration to share knowledge and best practices between the two universities, specifically related to two programs:
- Access Monash Mentoring program, which targets Year 11 and 12 students from under-represented groups in Victoria and Tasmania and has been delivered since 2012;
- The University of Queensland (UQ) Partnered Schools and Community Engagement Program, delivered by the UQ Widening Participation Team since 2013.
The project was intended to build capacity at both institutions and work towards aligning the design and evaluation of both programs. The partnership is working towards a shared approach to impact evaluation.
